I began riding at the age of 7 at a local barn’s summer camp and shortly thereafter found a passion for the sport and what it had to teach me. I began taking lessons that fall and continued through the years. After moving locations, I found a barn that would contribute and provide professional assistance for me to reach my goals. I began showing across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. I qualified for the Connecticut CHSA finals three consecutive years before moving up and competing at more prestigious horse shows.
I am currently enrolled at Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island and will be graduating in 2023. I am extremely dedicated to my school work and to the equestrian sport where my training consists of lessoning and hacking five days a week with Sunday and Monday being the horses and my days off. This has developed both my horsemanship skills and personal and character development.
I am 5’3 and 105 lbs., and riding on a collegiate team would help me continue riding and education simultaneously and is the next rational step for me. I am appreciative of what this sport taught me such as teamwork, connection, and discipline as well as the opportunities it has provided me with.
